I love cathedrals, not as religious symbols, just as architectural buildings. They are impressive, modern cathedrals try to imitate old styles as for example grace cathedral at San Francisco. But this modern one all in glass, really impressed me. I felt I was in front of the...

Carmela71 Says:
Just a few miles from Disneyland is this cathedral, I guess we would have missed if we were not staying at Anaheim as we read about here at the guide, but we did not though it was going to be as impressive as it was.
It can be crowded

1st Annual Native American Pow-Wow, Santa Ana College, 1530 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana, California 92706-3398, (714) 564-6000!
Pow-wows are big in Orange County. The one we attended in July 2002 was held for the first time at Santa Ana College, and it was a resounding success! The only sad thing to report is that we were NOT allowed to take pictures because some tribes believe that a photograph captures part of the soul. I was brokenhearted, because these costumes and dances would have made FABULOUS photos! If you're in Garden Grove next summer, be sure to check and see if the Pow-Wow is scheduled during your visit. You will NOT want to miss this unforgettable performance of tribal music and dancing, along with the delicious food sold at the concession stands in addition to the beautiful Native American jewelry, arts and crafts!
