Favorite thing: The Gaslamp Quarter is the heart of San Diego's present downtown. In the past twenty years this area has been renovated, revamped and revitalized. Every effort has been made to showcase the historical elements, take advantage of the bayside location and to draw in residents from all over the County of San Diego as well as the wonderful tourists who stop by.

The Gaslamp Quarter is only the beginning, you could spend a month in San Diego without seeing or doing everything. It doesn't matter what your interests are, you'll most likely be able to find it in San Diego. Natural settings, shopping, casual to fine dining, history, beach activities, biking, hiking, theme parks, zoos, aquarium, science, museums and more.

Favorite thing: See San Diego: the zoo is really neat, Marineland is very interesting, and a bus tour of the city is a must to hear about all the other sites to see when you visit.
San Francisco was enlightening with all the piers there, no left-turns in the whole city, a two-level bridge one-way traffic on each level,Fisherman's warf was something to see, the 'Golden Gate Bridge' is RED, and next trip we want to see Alcatraz.

Favorite thing: San Diego Zoo is a great place to spend the day. It's increadibly large, so plan on spending the day.
Take a drive through Beverly Hill. The home's are amazing.
Knotts Berry Farms, is a great amusement park, and Disney Land isn't far away either. Do and see everything.

Fondest memory: The Crystal Cathedral is amazing! One of the most magnificent structures ever build. Do not deny yourself seeing this master piece.

Favorite thing: In San Diego, there are so many things to see and do. Sea World, the 'World Famous San Diego Zoo,' the Mission San Diego de Alcala. One thing I would highly recommend if you have the time is to go to Julian in the mountains and then on to the Anza-Borrego Desert, if you are there in Winter or especially Spring when the desert is in bloom.

    Fondest memory: Miss the most:

Palm trees. Good friends. St. Luke's Episcopal Church. El Cuervo Taco Shop on Washington St. Breakfast at Kono's in Pacific Beach. The weather. My job.
