Conrad's restaurant has been at the location for many many years.. I've lived in Glendale since 1989 and I can remember Conrad's way back.. The only difference today is that it's open 24 hours.. AND YOU CAN HAVE BREAKFAST 24 HOURS A DAY WHICH IS GREAT. The menue consists of burgers, sandwiches, salads, the few pastas and chicken and seafoods and a handful of deserts to go along with coffee.. My favorite is the corn chowder they serve only on Saturday nights.... It's pretty delicious.. Not a lot of places are open in Glendale all night so if you're in town and hungry, give it a try..
Favorite Dish: I like the corn chowder served only on Saturday nights.. The greek salad is pretty good with large pieces of feta cheese and lots of black olives.. Try their bread pudding called the "diplomat pudding".. it's bread puding with raisings.. it's pretty good!! I usually go for a sandwich for the main meal along with half a greek salad and diet coke!!! that does it for me at Conrads.. nothing fansy but does the job at 3 in the morning...hehehe

El Morfi eatery is one of those restaurants when you pass by it, you don't know how great the cuisine inside and the people inside are.. It looks like a shop from outside. But inside is a whole other story.. Great staff and most importantly, TASTY FOOD!!!
The price is very average and even a bit less than average for the taste and the place....
It is a family owned business and they've been around since 1991. They serve Argentinean cuisine along with some other Latin American food.. Please check out their website for more pictures of dishes and a history of their restaurant..
We recommend this eatery to our friends on VT because our experience today for lunch for excellent.
Favorite Dish: I loved the "LINGUINI AL HONGO" with mushrooms and clams.. For lunch, you can get this dish for a special of $6.99. Christine had the chicken sandwich with french fries for about the same price and the sandwich to was excellent... Gotta give this place a try... They also have a wide variety of white and red whines so for all the wine lovers, what's better than Argentinean Seafood and some wine?? LOL YummY

The restaurant is small and sleepy, but very clean, with a mild attempt at looking like the Medditerian.
Food and drinks come from Lebenon, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. Meats, Fishes, Wines.
The staff is rediculously friendly. I've went twice in one year and they recognized me.
Favorite Dish: The free appetizer is flat bread with olive oil and spices to dip in. I could it just that for my meal.

If you are ever in Glendale and are walking about in the downtown area, make a stop at Portos Bakery. Its a great family owned bakery that has the most delicious pastries, and for a really great price as well. For a couple of dollars, you can easily bring home two big boxes of goodies! Check out their site for more details!
Favorite Dish: Everything!

This is a really great restaurant. The chicken is excellent! Its also quite cheap. You can either order white or dark meat for your chicken and it comes with some pita bread, humus and garlic paste! Naturally you can order falafels as well. Don't go to KFC, this place is way better.
Favorite Dish: the 1/2 chicken meal.

This place says its an Irish restaurant. Its not really. It has a few items on the menu that are Irish in nature, but its not a genuine Irish restaurant. Still, it has great fish and chips. Plus its located in downtown Glendale and is near the Mann movie theaters, the Glendale Galleria and other fun plalces.
Favorite Dish: The fish and chips.

We stopped here to get breakfast and were not disappointed. The portions were large and the food was good. You got your monies worth here. Service was good and the decor was enjoyable.
