Now, this was a gem! Not a fancy place, just something along the way. We stopped into a not so big tasting room and tasted some decent wines. They took us to the back for a barrel tasting and OMG! had a taste of the most amazing Zinfandel with huge vanilla/creme brulee flavors. They were selling futures so my boyfriend purchased a 1/2 case to be shipped to him next year in March when they will be bottling the wine. It was interesting though because we drank Zin harvested from the same vineyards but from the previous year and they were not so similiar. Having tasted such wonderful wine, we proceeded to tackle a few more wineries down the road. We ended up returning to Zichichi within an hour and my boyfriend bought another 1/2 case of this Zin for a total of a full case. A definite recommendation to stop by and check out what they have.
