A TOTAL dive bar on the Strand on Hermosa Pier that looks out to the Pacific Ocean. A small, dingy bar that ONLY serves beer. Your choices are Budweiser or Bud Light. That's it. I think they may have MGD as well. There's a couple of pool tables and an outside courtyard. People come here to drink, not to pick up anyone. All the locals come here to hang out w/ friends and have a couple of cheap beers while shooting pool and playing video golf called Golden Tee.

Just north of Hermosa is another city named Manhattan Beach. Not as many people, sometimes.
Manhattan Beach is like Beverly Hills at the beach.
