Yellow cab's are paramount when traveling around Hermosa beach (most specifically when you have taken a couple of sips of your friend's alcoholic beverage). ;-) Hermosa Beach police are notoriously strict on everything from parking meters to driving with your music too loud. I stick to the safe path and take cabs....their cheap, there are tons of them, and I am worry-free about being pulled over!

Parking is a nightmare in Hermosa Beach, particularly on the weekends and especially in summer. Your best bet is to simply park in one of the structures or lots that are on Hermosa Avenue north or south of Pier Avenue and to walk from there. There is metered parking on the streets, but it's limited, always taken, and you need quarters.

Take a taxi if you really want to go tho Hermosa Beach at night. There are pleanty of companys that go to Hermosa. And when you are ready to leave, a taxi staging area is at the Pier and Hermosa Ave corner. CAN'T MISS IT.
