I mean, why not see a creepy movie in the most haunted place of all? Brilliant idea! At the Hollywood Forever, eccentric movie goers flock to the cementary, especially on Saturday evening for a freak show. Check out schedule on website !
To mix with some Hollywood locals, dress California casual and hip and wait tragically long to get into a restaurant whether if it is quality or mediocre, like these people seen here at the Griddle Cafe (at 7916 Sunset, Ho). Scenes like this play out especially along Sunset Blvd in Hollywood and West Hollywood.
In Hollywood you will find every kind of person. From tourists, to locals..you have seen it all. I would advise to just walk, not look anyone in the eyes, because you just never know. Not saying the people there are rude, but from experience. If you look them in the eye they will approach you!
In the 1930's, Hollywood came under assault from religious and government groups that charged the motion picture industry with glamorizing violence and immorality. Was it instinctive self- preservation or simple economics that drove Hollywood to agree to censor itself, and at what cost to artistic expression? Though, nowadays things are waaaaaay more relaxed about that, we still have 'censorship' in the U.S. and Hollywood has to 'more or less' abide to that. I say.... look at this picture and tell me how is there violence in Hollywood????? ain't that a friendly couple? Where else but in Hollywood can you see Superman and Crocodile Dundee strolling ‘round together......? I love this picture!!!!! Influence is a funny thing. One can make their followers see things through rose colored glasses even though they've wiped their bottoms with the lenses...... (this of course depends on 'the followers') But in Hollywood there's no set trend.... not one and only fashion statement to follow..... everybody kind of goes at their own pace and does whatever the heck they want, without following a certain roll.... a certain example.... everything goes in Hollywood.... no one will feel 'out of fashion'.... or 'our of place'.... (well, maybe some would) It's a place to just go relax, have fun!!!! and not making anything out its eccentricities.
'Ripley's Believe It or Not', the ideal place to visit if you would like to see things such as... Madonna's pointy brassier, three headed rattlesnakes, Neil Armstrongs toilet bag, Atilla the Huns sunglasses... shall I go on. Oh and thats Godzilla on the roof.
