Highlight: Central Perk Set.
My tip: If you got the budget, go for the Deluxe Tour.
I Recommend Warner bros VIP Studio Tour
If your´e a movie fan this is the studio tour you shouldn´t miss out on! Forget about Universal Studios! After having done Universal Studios we hesitated if it was worth doing yet another studio tour. After a fw minutes of discussion we decided to sign up, and we don´t regret it for a second!
The Warner Bros VIP studio tour is a "real" studio tour where you travel around the studios in an electric cart. The guide really knew what he was talking about and was very interesting to listen to. During the tour we got to see real moviesets from TV-series, movies and the entire set of the famous Friends Café "Central Perk".
At one point we stepped of our electric cart just to set foot on the Stage of "The mentalist". It was kinda cool to walk around a real set, even though I don´t follow the series.
The tour also features stops at the Museum and a stop too see some famous moviecars.
At the end of the tour we also got free tickets for the recordings of "Mike & Molly", which was kinda nice.
The regular VIP tour was $48 and we do regret not taking the Deluxe tour for $225 which is a more in-depth tour of the studios. But We will definately do that next time.
Warner bros is more appropiate for adults and teens, while Universal Studios is the place to bring the youngest.
Two Thumbs up
- A "real" studio tour where you actually get to set foot on real sets.
- Central Perk!
- Fun and knowledgable guide
Tour Warner Brothers Studios
This was a tour i'd recommend if you're a TV or movie buff . The guide we has was excellent , he was really into it and knew lots of background information . We piled into an electric cart that takes you around .We saw the sets of Friends ...the coffee shop is set up there ) Cold Case, Boston Legal and tons more , we saw the costumes that were used in different movies and TV shows ( like the Walton's) It was really interesting . The tour took about 2 hours , costs $42.00. There's parking available for $5.00. You need to reserve tickets .Camera's are allowed.
