    Hollywood Wax Museum

by Yaqui Updated Aug 29, 2014

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Billed as Hollywood Walk of Fame, is the longest running wax museum in the United States, with more than 45 years of continuous operation by the same owners since 1965. I thought $30 was worth the money to see the three musuems. The wax figures here are not as detailed as Madame Tussaud Wax Museum, but it was still fun and interesting.

    Open 10 a.m. to Midnight,
    365 days a year

The Hollywood Wax Museum is filled with a variety of collections of Hollywood memorabilia on four floors of this wonderful historical Max Factor Building, which is a piece of history itself. Costumes consisting of Elvis’, I Love Lucy, Superman, Star Trek, Transformers, Glee, High School Musical, Michael Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Rocky, Sopranos, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Beyoncé, and the list goes on. A very fun place to explore!

    Wax Museum Part II

by machomikemd Updated Nov 28, 2013

more pictures of the wax museum

there are actually two wax museums in hollywood boulevard and the original Los Angeles Was Museum lies a few blocks north along the cross streets of Hollywood Boulevard. the more touristy Madame Tussard's Wax Museum is more known to tourists as it just sits beside the Grauman's Chinese Theater, so if you are not a local Los Angeleno, you would not know the difference.

madame tussards wax musuem was opened in 2009 and is part of the madame tussard wax musuem franchise and to entice people to enter this 3 story buidling, they have periodically put out famous wax models of personalities as a come on to pay and enter inside.

admission price is $ 27.95 per person for adults and $ 20.95 for kids 4-12 years.

    hours: Monday to Friday: 10am - 7pm
    Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 8pm

    closed during oscar's.

This museum is great! Take a walk through and you will definately see all of your favorite celebrites here! Inside there is a 'Scary' section, and it gives you the option if you want to enter or not. It is freaky, but if you want a little scare..then go through the door ;)
