This LAX pictures are for the Domestic Terminals, LAX has 8 Different Domestic Terminals catering for many local airlines coming to and from other areas like jet blue (notorious), Delta, United Continental, American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta Connection, Sky West, Southwest and more.
LAX or the Los Angeles International Airport is the main Gateway to Los Angeles for both Domestic and International Flights but there are satellite airports nearby for domestic travel like the burbank airport, ontario International Airport, Long Beach Airport and van nuys airport. It is the Busisest Gateway in the West Coast and is the fifth busiest airport in the world.
Hours of Operation:
LAX is open 24 hours daily, including holidays.
Airline check-in counters and federal passenger security screening open between 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. and close between 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Pacific Time, depending upon flight schedules for each terminal.
LAX can be reached primarily using the Century Boulevard exit (and several more northern exits) on Interstate 405, or the Sepulveda Boulevard (State Route 1) exit on Interstate 105.

The Burbank Airport is SUBSTANTIALLY less crowded than LAX. If you can avoid LAX, try landing at Burbank, it really is an easy airport to get in and out of and it's the closest airport to Hollywood proper.
