Went in here and met some really amusing locals...
Rob, Barny a Hispanic chap and I had people coming off the street to see what was going on when we were all singing "We've gotta ticket to ride...we've gotta ticket to ride....and we don't care"
So funny...:-)
Dress Code: No worries...anything
It's undergoing renovation at the moment but still open for business...

A big fishie tank in the middle of the club with, you guessed it, sharks. Also, you can reserve large areas with pool tables for functions such as birthdays, etc, etc. Careful though, this is one of the few clubs where I've actually seen the bartenders cut off revelers. :o)

BARHOPPING! When my friends and I go down here at night, we like to start off at HB BREWING COMPANY Why? I don't kow, its just become tradition.
There's another little bar on the street (sorry, I can never remember the name) but they have a drink called The Clam. Its a mix of all kinds of Rum and juices and it comes in a huge clam-shaped bowl with many straws so you can share with friends. This idea is pretty disgusting when sober, but can be highly amusing at other times. We usually end up at HURRICANE'S at the end of the night. This is a dance-bar that has a live band. If you're lucky it'll be a middle-age cover band. This can be very fun as well. A very mixed crowd.

This is how I ended up in HB... I'd been to Lac D'Annecy in France (1976) & Moscow in what was the old Soviet Union (1978) as a schoolboy, plus the annual family holiday to either Newquay (Cornwall),...
