Desert Views, Joshua Tree National Park
Fondest memory: Surprisingly, the Joshua Tree was not what impressed me the most. We did the 1 mile hike at The Barker Dam where I found the most amazing site ever. It 's like one of those beauties that never get recognition, therefore it had no name. I loved it's framework of branches and twigs coming from everywhere. It possessed such power and beauty.
Hiking this trail is only 1.3 miles and is well worth the view. Sign the book at the top, put in your comments and read others. Be really cool and leave an energy bar for the person in need. Take it slow and enjoy the view. OOPs don't forget your camera.
Fondest memory: You can find the trail head in the Black Rock Campground between camp site 20 & 21.
Check out the nature center it's ok.
