    Climbing/Hiking Season

by girladventure Updated Sep 12, 2004

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: The best months for climbing or hiking are usually late Oct. to early Dec. and March through April. But then again there is no such thig as sure bet with the weather. JTNP receives almost half of its precipitation during July, August and Sept.

Fondest memory: This picture was taken around 3pm 9/11/04.

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Fondest memory: Those boulders are a frequent sight in Joshua Tree National Park. There are often campgrounds near, but beware - the weather is not always benevolent, and you might freeze your butt off when camping!
