This is an easy, wheelchair accessible loop trail that is less than a half a mile long. Here you will pass a collection of gigantic boulder piles. Cap Rock Formation is just one of these unusual rock formations. The trail is level and paved and circles through smaller boulder formations after leaving Cap Rock. Signs along the trail tell you about the geology and plants of the Mojave Desert this is another popular rock climbing area so watch for climbers on the Cap Rock Formation.
