That’s Italian Restaurant Romeo and Anna: Old Town Charm, Kernville

Yaqui Says:  This one of those wonderful little restaurants that has stayed in business for many years due to the good food and the home town charm. Yet there seems to be some disparity with how the owner may reacted to their customers. I hope it is not so.This sign on the front says...

Ewings: Great view, terrible food, Kernville

sciteach Says:  The view from the restaurant is beautiful, but the food was awful. My "garlic mashed potatoes" were made from a powdered mix and the lettuce in the salad was spoiled. I would suggest eating at "That's Italian" instead. A waste of $40!

Our rafting guides Kathy and Jeff, explaining the proper way to put on a lfe vest as well as what to do if you fall into the river.

If you fall in, try to roll into the river, keeping your arms tucked in and float down the river on you back, legs facing forward

Don't try to stand in the river because your leg(s) might get stuck in the rocks and the water current might pull you under.

This is a trap of a different kind. This picture shows the bottom of the raft I used which frequently got stuck on the rocks in the river.

Well one of the bottom seams on the floor came apart, causing the floor to be lower than normal, which would explain why this raft was trapped on the rocks more often than other rafts.

What to Pack

Packing List

Packing List, Kernville

Yubert Says:   It's a good idea to wear a bathing suit or T-shirt underneath your wetsuit. That way, if it gets too hot in your wetsuit, you can peel down the top half without violating any indecency laws.
