Movie tickets

The La Habra 16 movie theater is located on Imperial Highway. They have, as the name suggest, 16 theaters and are open from 9am until the wee hours of the morning when a new movie is out. The cost for tickets is not so bad when you do the matinee thing where you can get to see a first run movie for $5.75. The matinees are normally before 530pm so pick a movie before that time.

Good Ol' La Habra, California

Some locals complain of the lack of freeway access here, especially my mother. La Habra is easy to miss if travelling by freeway in southern California. The closest freeway exit to LH is the 57exit off Lambert Rd , a few miles away (about 10 min drive) from the town's center .

La Habra is the exceptional town of Orange county, the only one with the higher tax rate on purchases! Boo! She really wants to be in higher taxing Los Angeles county! As of 2011, the sales tax is at a rate of 8.25, the same as the city of L.A. and L.A towns within the county. Check site for any updates on the tax.

This is a very bad intersection as many folks use the right turn only lane as their shortcut around the other drivers.

Please ... if you are in a right turn only lane make the right turn.

La Habra, California

Westridge is a beautiful hillside public course that is definatively off the beaten path in So Cal.
There is a man-made lake and though the yardage is small, the layout is a good challenge for the intermediate and skilled players.

The signature hole is #16, a 337-yard, par 4.

Fees are $50-80

Equipment: A collared shirt and bermuda shorts! No denim
