Favorite thing: The Salk institute is open for people to visit from 8:30 AM - 5 PM daily. For groups of 7 or fewer a tour is available daily at noon. If your group is larger a donation of $100 and 2 weeks pre-registration is asked. The tours will cover the history of the institute and of course a tour of the building.
