The Crab Catcher, La Jolla

The prices at Crab Catcher are high so don't expect a bargin here. Of course, you get what you pay for and there is a reason this place is so highly praised.

Forget for a moment, the spectacular views from this rusticly constructed restaurant perched on a cliffside in La Jolla. It seems that an important reason for the popularity of Crab Catcher happens to be the fantastic fusion of flavors offered in a meal, from ingredients used to the matching of the wine.

Though they stop lunch at three and start dinner at 5:30 pm, they offer Happy Hour from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Favorite Dish: Making a suggestion would not be useful as they change the menu and the prices to keep their meals fresh and interesting. This is a popular place and the food is quite satisfactory.

Adjacent to the Crab Catcher restaurant, is their Seaside Cafe which offers Oyster and Sushi bar house specialties. Not to mention Martini Thursdays!
