Grossmont Center: A Popular Shopping Mall

by lmkluque Updated Jun 20, 2012

Grossmont Center is a huge shopping mall. Within this mall you'll find stores selling clothes of all types for everyone in the family, gift stores, discount stores, high end stores, a 10 plex movie theater and restaurants of all types.

Most of the stores are in the middle of a huge parking lot which makes it easier for walking. There are a few lagere stores and restaurants on the outside of the parking lot which helps to spread the use of spaces. As an example, those who plan to eat at one of the full service/larger restarunts will have plenty of parking to choose from because the shoppers have parked at the other side of the lot. it's really a well planned system.

What to buy: Here you can buy almost anything you might want or need. Books & Stationary from Barnes & Nobles, electronics from Best Buy. Designer clothes/accessories/perfumes/shoes for men, women and children at Macy's. Almost anything in all categories, at Walmart, which is a big discount store. There are many other stores to choose from that are big/small/chains/unique. Really a good selection of stores are here for the die-hard shopper. There are fast food places as well as full service restaurants and of course the movie theater.

What to pay: What ever your budget is, there is something at Grossmont Center that you can afford to buy.

La Mesa Antiques Mall: Hidden Treasures

by Yaqui Updated May 29, 2010

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This is a wonderful antique store. They have so many things you have to be careful as to not knock things over, so be careful. The folks here were ok, not very friendly. I found this wonderful 70's toy dump truck for my grand nephew and it was at a good price.
