There are 35 pieces of art located in the Civic Center Campus and throughout La Quinta. You can get a map of the locations at the La Quinta City Hall or download one from the website. Or you can just explore and discover them on your own.
The Civic Center Campus is a beautiful park set in the middle of town. It has very nice landscaping, a nice pond popular with the wildlife and several pieces of art scattered throughout. It is a great place to relax a bit and is conveniently located to everything you want to see in La Quinta.
There is this interesting, and unique, monument to the countries veterans in the Civic Center Campus.
The La Quinta Arts Foundation hosts "Art Under the Umbrellas" in Old Town on selected Saturdays between October and April. The festival showcases the art of over 70 local ard area artists
The most interesting thing to see in La Quinta (at least to me) is the small old town district. This area has interesting architecture and a nice collection of trendy shops, restaurants and bars.
