This restaurant has good food and service but the management stinks. The manager was rude and short with me when asking if he could tell my waiter that we had a couple of birthdays at our table and when a server accidentally spilled water on phone they said he would be personally liable for it. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT THEIR STAFF. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES! When I called to talk to the owner and relay my dissatisfaction he hung up on me. I WILL BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER EAT HERE! I will also be looking into legal action for my phone.

It appears the Boom has become yet another victim of Laguna Beach gentrification.
After 60+ years of history, the scuttlebutt is that the whole building has been sold to be replaced by yet another (allegedly) boutique hotel.

The Boom Boom room was an historic place for both straights and gays to celebrate Laguna nightlife. It will be missed. Too bad for Laguna Beach, and too bad for you and me.

Boom Boom Room is a very lively gay/drag hotspot.
Fun, definitely not boring.

Didn't go at night as the title says..did a day visit to Laguna and after I'd walked the Beach, browsed the shops, eaten, I thought a few cool beers would go down well so picked a bar with the same Surname as my local back home...
Nice beer and friendly locals meant an enjoyable couple of hours chillin....
