The Crescent Bathhouse was built three years after Elsinore became a city. The Victorian Era structure has stood for over 100 years but has changed identities in that time span. The hot sulfur waters made the building a mecca for those seeking medical help for rheumatism, arthritis and many other medical needs. It had an enclosed pool for people to...more
Lake Elsinore, California, has a lake and a sand beach. The large public beach, Elm Grove Beach, is part of the fourteen miles of shoreline and part of the fun you can have while enjoying a day at the lake. Volleyball nets, restrooms, picnic areas, and plenty of sand. Nearby is the Seaport boat launch area, so if you have a jet ski or boat, it can...more
All Aboard! Clicketyclack on the railroad track. Elsinore was the town and a train ran through it in 1882. The train line was owned first by the California Southern Railroad Company and in 1896 the Santa Fe Railway Company moved the station to its present site at Spring and Graham Streets. Run by Santa Fe Railroad, it was in operation, off and on...more

This is one of the first in Outlet Malls. Over 70, maybe close to 100 stores that offer discounts from 30-70%. Name brands such as Gap, Nike, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Pottery Barn, Bass, Billabong, Casual Male Big & Tall, Fox, and Guess, all have outlet stores at the Lake Elsinore Outlets along with many well known name stores located here, as well.
What to buy: This is a shoppers paradise that you can find just about anything you are looking for and most at great discounts.
Lake Elsinore is small hometown America. No better way to spend the Fourth of July then watching a baseball game, have a beer or two, hot dogs, and cheer on the home team, the Lake Elsinore Storm. After the game, and the sky is dark and then to the roar of the crowd, a large boom shakes down like thunder from the sky.
It's celebration time, Happy Birthday United States of America as we cheer on the fireworks that proclaim that Yankee Doodle feeling. I took some pictures at the fireworks show at the baseball park. Most of the pictures look like futuristic art due to the speed of the bursting fireworks. I find the photos to be quite interesting and trust you feel the same.
Should wear a hat for sun protection.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring a liter or 2 of water if it's a hot day. Also bring trekking poles to reduce the pressure on your knees.
BATTER UP! That's the cry of the umpire for a baseball game to start the game. At the state of the art baseball diamond at Lake Elsinore is sounds fantastic. Appropreately named the Lake Elsinore Diamond, it is home to the Lake Elsinore Storm Class-A Advanced Minor League Baseball Affiliate of the San Diego Padres, a National League team of Major...more
