This is a really small cafe on 2nd Street. I like the vibe on 2nd Street because there's lots of happy people walking around. Long Beach's upper class sections / nice areas aren't as snooty as most places. People say hello and are cordial. I met one of my friends to talk about an upcoming trip to Sri Lanka. The waitresses were really nice and helped my friend find her way to the place. The place has a few nice decorations and is cozy with a relaxed atmosphere.
Favorite Dish:
I had the Arabic Tea (pictured) and the pastry combo appetizer while I waited. I liked the complimentry pickles they gave out too. I would recommend the pastry combo because you get a lot of tastes for $6. I also want to try the vegitarian fried coliflower apetizer.
I had the Falafel Sandwich for about $8 with Babganoush. It was pretty good. I also wanted to try the rice dishes, because I like the Lebanese style of yellow rice, but I had already eaten too many appetizers to have a full entree.
