Take a tour to see the harbor Xmas lights. The Star Party Cruises ship will take you on a 1-hr tour of the bay. You will see Naples Island's lovely homes all aglow, boat all decorated with lights, and even a few gondolas with couples. You can go up on the top deck to get a great view or stay downstairs where it is warmer. I was chilly so my son gave me his leather jacket to wear. It was almost bigger than I am. Night shots are not easy to get but we tried. This boat also has New Years eve parties. Leave a Comment Phone: 562/799-7000

Repos by kyoub I am sure the thought will cross your mind as you drive around and see all the lovely boats in the marina. There are hundreds of boats that have been repossed here . Of course that does make you stop and wonder if you can really afford to own one either. Leave a Comment

Naples Bay by kyoub Gondoliers in traditional garb take you on a one-hour tour of the canals of naples Island. We didn't do this but we saw them when we were on another tour. It looked so romanic. My son said "I am going to do that in 2006". We didn't want to be rude and put a flash in their eyes so we didn't get a picture but the one shown is Naples Island canal. Leave a Comment

The Naples Christmas Boat Parade is a must see event if you are lucky enough to be visiting at that time. It is usually held the second Saturday in December. Boaters may decorate their vessels and enter the parade. This parade attracts large crowds in and around the canals of Naples and it is always great fun. Leave a Comment

by Tom_Fields Long Beach has the world's longest artificial breakwater--over 10 miles long. This enables large, ocean-going container ships to use the port. Leave a Comment
