Fondest memory: The staff in Disneyland is very professional and polite. They never push us to leave though we devoted ourselves to shopping and became the last group of tourist in Disneyland...it is midnight time and running away their working time...

Disney's California Adventure

Favorite thing: Disney's two great theme parks in California, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, offer fun for the whole family. This will undoubtedly be the happiest place on Earth for your kids! You won't be disappointed at all. There are many great rides and shows for all ages. Located in Anaheim, in Orange County, south of Los Angeles.

a fat visitor

Favorite thing: Back in 1998, I think.
This is another picture from my occasional visit to the "fabled" Disneyland, that is located "just" 60 miles south of the downtown Los Angeles where I had my hotel.
Read my other tips for more information.

I was there in a bright, sunny, warm day. Why I had a sweater on, then? Who knows?
P.s.: Oh my God! How fat I was?

Whats up, Donald?

Favorite thing: Go to Disneyland at Anaheim. It´s not only for kids. The peaceful, beautiful world of World Disney fascinates everybody. Beside the cartoon characters you should check out the thrilling rides, the rollercoastes, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and a submarine ride. Go to the park early in the morning and stay for the whole day.

Fondest memory: The first view I caught of the city while I was sitting in the plane getting ready to land at Los Angeles International Airport. To see the skyline and the world-famous Hollywood sign in the hills north of the city was awesome.

Favorite thing: Disneyland is a must even if you dont have children. Situated in Anaheim some miles outside LA city.
Marine Land with dolphin show is very good too. At the coast south.

Fondest memory: Atmosphere up at Malibu Beach. Small famous restaurants along the road. One place serving egg dishes. Very good.
Chinese restaurant with foot and fingerprints in concrete
of famous actors.
Sunset Boulevard. Bevery Hills. Hollywood.

Favorite thing: spend half a day at Knott's Berry Farm in Anaheim. It's just a stone's throw away from the more popular and world-famous Disneyland.

For more info, please surf to the official website of this theme park - touted as America's first and oldest theme park.
