Whatīs up, Donald? by KaiM Go to Disneyland at Anaheim. Itīs not only for kids. The peaceful, beautiful world of World Disney fascinates everybody. Beside the cartoon characters you should check out the thrilling rides, the rollercoastes, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and a submarine ride. Go to the park early in the morning and stay for the whole day.
The first view I caught of the city while I was sitting in the plane getting ready to land at Los Angeles International Airport. To see the skyline and the world-famous Hollywood sign in the hills north of the city was awesome. Leave a Comment

a fat visitor by shivan Back in 1998, I think. This is another picture from my occasional visit to the "fabled" Disneyland, that is located "just" 60 miles south of the downtown Los Angeles where I had my hotel. Read my other tips for more information. I was there in a bright, sunny, warm day. Why I had a sweater on, then? Who knows? P.s.: Oh my God! How fat I was? Leave a Comment

I got to play Draculas bride at Universal Studios and I was in a show with 'The Incredible Hulk'. I was his girlfriend....it was great to sign autographs after the show.....my stardom! Leave a Comment

Disneyland is a must even if you dont have children. Situated in Anaheim some miles outside LA city. Marine Land with dolphin show is very good too. At the coast south.
Atmosphere up at Malibu Beach. Small famous restaurants along the road. One place serving egg dishes. Very good. Chinese restaurant with foot and fingerprints in concrete of famous actors. Sunset Boulevard. Bevery Hills. Hollywood.

by Krystynn spend half a day at Knott's Berry Farm in Anaheim. It's just a stone's throw away from the more popular and world-famous Disneyland. For more info, please surf to the official website of this theme park - touted as America's first and oldest theme park. http://www.knotts.com/index.htm Photo Below: Me and my best friend... :-) P.S. For more details, please check out my 'ANAHEIM' travel page.

by sabe 'Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts which have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.'...........................................................Walt Disney. (Hm, a little pretentious but what the heck eh?)
Tidbits on Mickey Mouse: He is called Musse Pigg in Swedish..which would translate into Musse the alert (heh)He was almost called Mortimer instead of Mickey but thankfully it didn't turn out that way. But did you know that Mickey was actually called Oswald for a while there? That was back when he wasn't even a mouse yet..he was a rabbit! Mickey's b-day is November the 18 the year 1928..so he should by all means have at least grey ears by now! This is what he looked like as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Remember: be sure you go to Disneyland to enjoy the show in the night! It's a fantastic view.
