Meet the Travel Angel, which may be indeed the essence of you, the tourist. The decorated statue of a tourist dude with wings is posted at a main entrance of the Original Farmer's Market. He's a part of the "A Community of Angels" public art project of 2001.

Favorite thing: Los Angeles's historic Farmers Market was better than I expected. Besides the fresh meat and produce that they sell here everyday, there was a large selection of international cuisine here. There are many food stands/restaurants here so bring your appetite! The Farmers Market also has some excellent shops: There are grocery shops, gift and specialty shops, book shops, and clothing shops too. Located at 3rd and Fairfax in Los Angeles.
Favorite thing: I remember going to Farmers Market (more than 50 years ago.) It doesn't look the same any more. It has grown a lot.
