Favorite thing: I had always wanted to visit LA.. It is a place like no other....
No wonder California has such an appeal to the young. Where else are daring dreams so welcomed and so often rewarded? With the freedom to make a new life and the opportunity to work in a wildly diverse society.

Favorite thing: I was here the Christmas of 2001. And I can tell you; I have never ever seen so much Chritmaslights as it was here. I come from Sweden and in the wintertime we have snow. Here in the "Sunny California" they have to make up for the snow with all the Christmas decorations. And they sure do! It is like Disneyland but in a regular street. This is from Pasedena, L.A.

Favorite thing: I lived in West LA for 2 years. There are plenty of activities to keep one occupied; but you'll need a car. Keep in mind, TRAFFIC. As everyone in LA drives, don't expect that it may take you 15 minutes to go 15 miles--depends on the time of day and whatever accidents may have occured.
Fondest memory: The warm weather!

Favorite thing: Come to visit the famous southern california with a possible chance of running into celebrities: Brad Pitt, Britney Spears and Madonna....etc
Fondest memory: The weather. It's warm and sunny all year round with an average temperature of 65F.

Favorite thing: chill party soak it up. enjoy the weather and the scenery. it's nice here every day
Fondest memory: landing here @ lax into a sunset, moving out here from washington, dc where i lived for 3 years. when i'm away, i miss the ocean

Favorite thing: LA is my hometown. I am currently living in Santa Monica. While you're here swim in the ocean, head over to Catalina, spend some time on the beach, check out Universal Studios and experience the Hollywood nightlife. I think that one of the most intriguing things about LA is that most people seem to be transplants from other places. I moved here from the east coast and find the weather and outdoor lifestyle a nice change of pace.
Fondest memory: LA sunsets are hard to beat and there is nothing like a day at the beach playing a little volleyball.

Favorite thing: I'd take someone blazing down a mountain trail, careening over rocks, sand and trees (with an occasional rattelsnake). Finish off with a sunset at the beach in Malibu. Forget Hollywood. It's all glitter and trash. A sad place really. In fact, most movie production activity has moved to the West Side. Check out the 3rd Street promonade in Santa Monica, Main Street and other sites on the West Side. Lots of fine dining opportunities and infinitely more comely.
Fondest memory: I live in L.A., so I miss the weather, what else!? Also, a multitude of things to do in a relaxed setting.
