The Key Club, Los Angeles
The Key Club
On the Sunset strip , this club has great live music and sometimes dancing.
Dress Code: This is the more layed back of the clubs. But remember this is Los Angeles, the trendier your dress the cheaper your door fee!
Here are my favorite places to go deaf and watch beautiful couples get down and dirty:
GIANT on Santa Monica, BLUE on Las Palmas, KEY CLUB on Sunset. I love to dance and when my friends are in town i dont take them to dirty warehouse raves or sketchy places - these three clubs are fun just for people watching/gawking.
These three spots are all nice in that they play some great dance music and have ridiculously glitzy interiors. GIANT (21+) is a monster club billing itself as LA's 1st superclub, BLUE is 18+ and has some hardcore banging shizit playing, KEY CLUB is more upscale dress & clientele. also plays the least cool music of the three, but it isnt bad.
GIANT is open till 4am, BLUE till 630am, K.C. til 2am.
One reason LA sucks - they stop selling booze after 2.
however, we do have world-class chronic (50 an 1/8o).
Dress Code: Dress code for the first two is funky, sneakers ok, because of all the dancing. Key Club has a notorious door policy that can keep guys waiting while 300 girls march by. General LA rule: girls dress scandalous if you want attention, guys look like you have money if you want them to talk to you.
