Angelino Heights is located about 2minutes from Downtown Los Angeles and is one of the first suburbs of LA. It was built in the mid 1880's and was home to the upper middle class Angelenos. We drove up and down the streets of this quiet neighborhood and enjoyed the architure of these beautiful homes. The street i liked the most was Carroll Ave because it appeared to have the most of these victorian style homes and the majority of them were refurbished and in great condition. Some of these homes have been preserved quite well, others need some tender loving care. The different architecture styles seen here are many: Queen Anne and Eastlake Victorian, mission rivival, Craftsman/California bungalow, Brownstone and Streamline Moderne.
