    What to wear in L.A.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Los Angeles does not get as hot as many people assume. In the summer, the temperature is usually in the eighties (80F), with ocean breezes near the water. At night, the city cools off considerably. Every now and then the temps soar into the upper nineties, but it's rare that it would get any hotter than that. In the winter months, the temperatures are often in the fifties sixties (50-60F). You'll want to be wearing pants and sweaters.

In general, it's a good idea to pack in layers when coming to L.A. Bring T-shirts for the daytime and light jackets for the evening. The good news? It rarely rains, so you probably won't need to pack an umbrulla. Make sure to bring along your sunglasses and sunscreen, though!

L.A. is not quite as fashion conscious as New York, but we still shudder at the sight of fanny packs and big, white tennis shoes. Don't look like a tourist! There' s not a problem with pickpockets or muggers here... you can carry a shoulder bag without fear. Your wardrobe should be casual, but chic.

    Wear Shades and Sunscreen

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunscreen is very helpful to have especially in the summer but also in the winter, the sun can be a killer too here.

Miscellaneous: Sun shades are good to have in many destinations but especially here in L.A. which has several days of sunshine throughout the year. If you're going to drive on the roads, there are especially helpful to block out the interfering rays of light.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You will need your warm weather clothes for the day and some kind jacket or light sweater for the evening because it does get cool.

Miscellaneous: Bring some sunblock if you are not used to being out in the sun alot and a hat of some sort. The only place I got sunburned was on my head.
