| Dining reviews and photos of Versailles posted by real travelers and Los Angeles locals. See all Los Angeles Restaurants | | Los Angeles Versailles Reviews | 1 - 10 of 11 | | There are three locations for Versailles. My favorite one is the small one on La Cienega. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great. And you can get Cuban beer Hatuey. It's also a spot for some celebs.
Breaded steak or pork chops. Garlic chicken. The black beans and white rice are great, too. Plantaines are good. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Several LocationsDirections: La Cienega south of Beverly Center

Versailles This is THE BEST Cuban food restaurant in the city and when you arrive you will know it. From the second you view the line out front to the moment the delectable food hits your mouth. TO think food this good could be so inexpensive!

There are too many to put down, but here are a few on the top of my list so far: Xiomara; Nonya; Lite 'n Healthy (Westwood); Versailles
The ceviche and mojito are to die for at Xiomara. Nonya does great duck. Unagi sushi is especially good at Lite 'n Healthy. The garlic infused pork and/or chicken with plantains at Versailles will make your tummy happy. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Xiomara and Nonya are both in Pasadena. Lite 'n Healthy is in Westwood. Versailles is on Venice Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Need I say more than GARLIC CHICKEN? This is the best thing I've eaten in a long time. The sauce was so rich, I got a migraine after I ate it. Now THAT'S good. I was surpised at how big the menu was. Every category was covered...beef, chicken, lamb, pork, seafood. Even the iced tea was great.

There are several locations...including Venice, West LA and Manhattan Beach, Ventura. I have been to the first three. The ambience is laid back cali-style, very family and group friendly. The strength doesn't lie in it's design but more so on the food. It is very popular with the locals and it's common to see lines outside during dinner time. The strength also lies in the low low prices of the food. Very highly recommended for low budget travelers.
My favorite dish "was" the vampire-repellant dish of Garlic chicken and still comes highly recommended. Huge portions for low price. I say 'was' because I'm now vegetarian... The plantains are my favorites!!! Leave a Comment

This restaurant is famous for the Garlic 1/2 chicken. One taste and smell of this baby, and you too will know why. It comes smothered in onions, garlic and this amzing sauce; also with an abundant amount of rice, black beans and to-die-for fried plantains, all for under $10 (last I checked). Definitely worth a try, in my opinion.
