Santee Street (look at the map) is located at the garment district of Los Angeles. It is where you can buy imitation bags and shoes - even tshirts as well as pirated movies... I suggest that you wear walking shoes and leave the jewelries behind. The parking is about $4 per hour.
Santee is a small street but there are other streets located in the GARMENT district - from laces to wedding gowns - sells wholesale as well as retail. This is where most of the clothing retailers get their items - at the garment district.

Santee Alley is the home of the knock-off Prada bag, Gucci sunglasses, YSL wallet. I got 2 "Prada" bags for $20.
It also has a cool selection of non-knockoff t-shirts and other clothes. Largely for more petite people.
Note that the alley is NOT for the faint-of-heart or claustrophobic. Imagine a cross between Tijuana & Calcutta, but with designer labels. You will literally not be able to move sometimes for the crush of bodies.

Great selection of purses, sunglasses, shoes & watches. If you like a designer name on your stuff, you're all set.
