by 1sassyfemme 'To all who come to this happy place, WELCOME! Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past...and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America...with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.' -Walter Elias Disney, 17 July 1955 When you're here, you just want to run around like a 6 year old! This place just makes you so happy and it's almost impossible to have a bad time. I mean, where else can you be seen with the world most recognizable face? It's Disneyland. The original and honestly never-been-duplicated. The Magic Kingdom in Orlando is nowhere near as good as Disneyland in Anaheim. Really. The Matterhorn and the Indiana Jones rides are SOOOOOO good, and Orlando somehow seems to be missing them. Don't you miss them -- go to Disneyland.

by ejroberts Visit Disneyland! Disneyland has grown and expanded into two theme parks. The original Disneyland Park and the new California Adventures park. As part of this expansion they have added a new area called Downtown Disney located directly next to the parks. This area has shopping, restaurants and entertainment. It is a pleasant area to stroll through and no admission is charged. Everyone must go to Disneyland at least once. It has something for everyone and it can be enjoyed even if you don't enjoy thrill rides. Some of my family members go just to enjoy the flowers, the shows and the people. If you have a choice it is best to go during the week as it is less crowded. It is always more crowded in the summer so try and visit in less crowded months like January or February. Leave a Comment

by sham Spend at least 2 days in Disneyland (bring out the child in you - never mind if you are 50, just enjoy youself). Buy the 2-day pass (special discount) and use the free transport available from most of the hotels or motels. Take a walk along the Hollywood Boulevard and stop at Mann's Theatre (finger prints of celebrities). On the way back to your hotel, stop by some shops to buy souvenirs. Spend a whole day in Universal Studio and bring back all the memories of the old movies ( remember 'Back to the Future' etc ). Enjoy the old cowboy town of Knott's Berry Farm and enjoy some home-made honey and jams. Visit the San Deigo Seaworld and zoo. Witness the playful dolphins performing some comical and dangerous tricks. For the adventurers, try the double twisted roller coasters (not for the faint hearted) in Knott's Berry Farm.

by wbozic Popular rides at the Disney parks By using a 'Fast Pass', you may avoid waiting in line by getting a scheduled time to appear and wait in a shorter line. The time you save can be spent a shops, restaurants, or less popular attractions. You must return the ticket, so don't lose it. BTW, we saved these 'Fast Pass' because the ride was out of service by the time our appointed wait was to begin.(See Photo of front & back of two passes)

by wbozic The new Disney California adventure theme park is a must see. Note the ticket design is the same for both parks. Mostly rides for older kids or healthy adults, but a few nice areas for the youngsters. Directions: Across from Disneyland, Anahiem, Orange County, California
