UCLA's On-Campus Museums
UCLA has two medium sized museums which it operates on campus: the Fowler Museum of Cultural History and the Hammer Museum of Art. Both of which are, at this time, FREE. They are great places if you only want a little culture and don’t want to spend a whole day in the LACMA or LCNHM.
The Fowler Museum exhibits a permanent collection of art and cultural items from a variety of cultures and as well as similarly themed traveling exhibitions.
The Hammer museum has a permanent of several well known artists such as Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, Rembrand van Rijn, Gustave Moreau, Henri Fantin-Latour and many others. It also features traveling exhibitions of modern art.
There are also exhibits in libraries and as well as hallways scattered throughout the campus. The Earth Sciences building is sort of a mini-natural history museum with rocks and minerals as well as a few dinosaurs.

Best Bet for Ticket Prices
Universities often get special discount prices for students for a variety of theme parks and other entertainment values. UCLA has a very good central ticket office which will sell these tickets to just about anybody. However, they are sold on site and cash only.
Also if you want to see some sort of cultural event, take a look at what is offered on campus.

Visit the beautiful UCLA...
Visit the beautiful UCLA campus nestled in between Bel Air, Beverly Hills and Westwood.
Beautiful sunny university campus. Check out the Powell library, the Royce Hall auditorium and Kerkhoff hall. For those that want UCLA gear, go to the huge store at Ackerman union.
Having time it's a good idea to go to Westwood, have a coffe and get into UCLA. Here we can visit all the buildings and feel the University....get lost!!
