This "Cafe" which is probably my favorite restaurant I've ever been to. It has such a great "BEACH" theme/feeling to it, that the first time i ever walked in it blew me away. There are two places you can sit. Inside and out. Outside, there are wooden beach chairs that you can tilt back and tables to place your food under big beach umbrellas and on a white sandy beach. The water is soooo blue and calm, its the most relaxing thing to look at, and gives you that feeling like you are at an Island resort off in the South Pacific. Inside, the walls have 100's of old photos of Malibu with labels to tell you what the photo is of, dating way back to the early 1800's. The place just has this welcoming feel to it that I've never experienced in my LIFE at a restaurant... its simply amazing, very, very amazing!

My favorite dish would have to be the Swedish Pancakes of course ;) I order that every time I go whether its morning, noon or night! Ugh omg they are amazing!

But if your not into that, PCC offers some really exotic choices with mouth watering results!

Because being located so close to the ocean they have excellent seafood if you like lobster or shell fish, personally I only stick to Salmon and thats kind of it with seafood for me.

If you have children-- the chicken fingers are top notch. And surprisingly enough, they are not fried so you wont have to worry about giving your kid hypertention at an early age ;)

This place is a Malibu landmark. It's an old rustic bar from the 1920s. On the walls are numerous photos of famous celebrities, and not so famous, that have visited the restaruant. The bar is frequented by biker dudes, but the restaurant is perfect for a family lunch. Waitresses are friendly and the atmosphere is typical California coast.

They serve seafood, BBQ, Burgers, BLTs, numerous sandwiches and salads, all are tasty and hearty. Their menu is fairly extensive. They have really good onion rings.

It was well after lunch time - more like 4pm - when we left the museum and headed up to the restaurant to see if we could get something to eat. The place was virtually packing up for the day but the young lad willingly put together a meal of bread and soup for us - delicious roasted red pepper and tomato soup and crusty olive bread - very Mediterranean and in keeping with the locale.

The restaurant is on a high terrace overlooking the museum entrance below. With both inside and outside seating, a menu of Mediterranean style dishes and snacks and spectacular views from the tables outside, it makes a pleasant place to take a break. An Espresso cart serves coffee and ready-made snacks, sandwiches and pastries for those in a hurry.

The Museum Shop is situated near the cafe.

Ive heard from many people that Geoffrey's was like an oasis that you could easily get lost in when settling in for a fine dinner and wine. I had heard that its brunch was delicious and the views of the ocean off the back patio were unmatched in other parts of SoCal. I had also heard that the staff was knowledgeable and attentive... so of course I thought people were getting a little carried away and I had to check it out for myself.

Much to my surprise Geoffrey's was ALL of that and more. We were about twenty minutes late for our reservations (the traffic on PCH can be a pain, so LEAVE early) but they accommodated us immediately with a smile and we settled in to a romantic table on the back patio. The waves are not more than 200 yards away and the sun was setting to our left. The colors were beautiful, and Geoffrey's has set up their patio to surely capitalize on it. Each table feels seperate from all the others, flowers, and candles are there to greet you.

The overall atmosphere is a mix between fine-dining oceanside style and personalized, romantic, beachy elegance. There are huge iron fire pits sprinkled around with roaring flames to send you into a trance, which can easily happen when you combine the warmth of the service and the extensive wine list you choose from.

Overall the "feeling" of this restaurant was one of the best I have ever experienced. I would say that early evening into night is the best time to catch it, as during lunch you may be a bit too warm on the patio since it has little shade to shield you, and nothing can beat the view of a moonlit ocean... absolutely amazing ambiance.

So when I decide to "dine" I do it right. We did the appetizers, the salads, the entrees, two desserts, cappuccino, a bottle of wine and a few after dinner cocktails. It was all very good, but I must say their were two highlights of the meal that have to be mentioned...

For an appetizer we had a "baked brie in a puff pastry" OH MY GOODNESS... I am serious it was amazing. Perfectly melted brie in a puff pastry paired with pear chutney and organic sunflower seeds... to die for.

Also for dessert we opted for the creme brulee. Wow again... delicious. I highly suggest getting this as the perfect cap to your meal, and pairing it with some Bailey's on the rocks. Delicious!

With those two highlighted I can easily say that everything we ordered was very good, and our server had a great sense of what to pair with the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc we ordered. Nothing makes a meal more delicious than when the flavors are meant to go together, and the chef at Geoffrey's has done a great job with that.

ahhh gladstones in malibu what a great place to eat and really enjoy life...i guess that's if you don't mind the wait to sit outside overlooking the ocean. coming from vegas i gladly wait each time i visit gladstones..the inside is a bit tacky they have pnut shells all over the place, but i never sit inside so who cares..the food is a bonus to the view, everything i've tried here is great. but the clam chowder new england style is the best i've ever had in my life and i've been to cape cod and had the real deal.. also i get the blue crab cocktail each time i come here..

i splurge and get the king crab legs, they are the biggest crab legs ever!!!!!!

The Inn of the Seventh Ray is a weird, wonderful, magical place that is nestled in a kind of faery lit garden on the hills of Topanga Canyon. The Inn, originally a kind of commune of new age nuts who had some kind of philosophy about the planet venus and forcefields and other half baked ideas, still has a little new age tinges to it, but it's been subdued and muted and the Inn now functions as a beautiful restaurant with great food in an absolutely magical setting. You'll dine in a garden of fountains, flowers, and oaks hung with faery lights. It's hushed and magical. The food is very good (used to be rated on a Karmic scale) now it's just standard menu. All the food is fresh, organic, tasty and delicously prepared. Go at night for the magic or go for brunch when you can mix it up with rock stars, porn stars, normal folks, and your standard malibu moms. There's a new age bookstore near the entrance where you can find out who to get your Aura massaged and Chi vaccuumed or whatever if you're so incline. THIS PLACE IS NOT TO BE MISSED Make sure to make reservations.

Duke's of Malibu is a favorite post beach spot in LA. The food is good, the atmosphere is delightful. It's got a sand pit bar over looking the crashing waves which is where I like to transition back from Holiday beach to reality. You can see Dolphins swimming by and Pelicans dive bombing fish!

It is a must-do during the summer weekends.

Fish Tacos, Fish and Chips, Corona, and definitely try the Mai-Tai's

If while dining at a Wolfgang Puck Restaurant you don’t feel trendy, then you’d better take your pulse.
The décor is trendy, the waiters are trendy, the crowd is trendy – and the food…well, besides being trendy, is well traveled. Your lobster is from Maine, your mushrooms from Oregon, your sardines are Portuguese, your Halibut is from Alaska, your Swordfish is Hawaiian, Salmon is Atlantic, and your chicken is running free on the range. And speaking of range, the price range is extremely reasonable for such a name-dropper dig. If you want to see the “movie crowd”, go during the evening. If you want to be the one being seen, then go to Sunday brunch – early – no crowd, no waiting.

I had the Crab Omelette - very good.

Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Great view over the beach and also has an outside patio for the summer. The staff are friendly and you can sit in the bar until your table is ready.

Crispy Onion Rings (very large portion!!!!)
    Classic American Burger

I also hear the clam chowder is wonderful

Fantastic view of the ocean, surfers and dolphins during lunch and at night, a magnificent view of the sun setting over the Pacific.

Should get there early or make a reservation to get a table with an ocean view.
