    FISHING MALIBU PIER

    ALL ALONE, NATURALLY

A fun thing to do in Malibu. Fish off the Malibu Pier. Standing on the pier facing west and you not only get to fish but you will get to watch the surfers off Surfrider Beach. Several types of fish are caught from the pier and pole holders and benches are provided. A great catch would be a flat bellied fish, the famous Malibu Halibut. Getting harder to find, but still around. There is sport fishing from the boats that go off the Malibu Pier.

Equipment: A good ocean fishing rod and a Penn reel. lol Tackle box filled with many weights and hooks. Look out for the seagulls and pelicans. They will fish your bait. Bring bait.

This is one fun place to see the surfers at Surfrider Beach at Malibu.

Equipment: Bring your surf board, wet suit, and your lunch. Without your own and a tourist to the area, Malibu has This is not a snorkleing beach. This is not even a swimmers beach. It is a surfers beach. If you go to watch, stay out of the water. If you want to refresh in the water, head over toward the pier and make sure no surfers are near.
