    Lakanuki: Great Atmosphere

    by Helen196 Updated Jun 8, 2005

Lakanukis is a little bit of Hawaii in the mountains!

We used to head here after a day on the slopes for many jugs of Coors Light and a plate of nachos.

The staff are really friendly and very attentive, the bar is stocked with plenty of draught and bottle beers and every spirit you can think of!

They have live bands, DJ's, and competition nights - there's always something happening here!

The food is the usual pub grub - burgers, roast chicken, nacho's, pizza's and everything we tried was good!

Dress Code: No dress code - we were in there many an evening in snowboarding gear!

Don't for get your I.D. if you plan on getting there later in the evening as you won't get in without it.

    Freeze: Brrrrrrrr

Don't think that just because you're in a ski town, you can't go out and get down. Hit up Freeze in downtown Mammoth if you want to dance to some hip hop. Or do the moon walk...

Dress Code: Bring a coat so you don't freeze in line--they've got a $2 coat check inside.
