Surprisingly, for a small resort town there's plenty to choose from. The village has the most in the same place. It is a new shooping area with restaurants, shops and bars, that's at the base for the gondola to the Canyon Lodge. Whiskey Creek is a restaurant that turns into a dance club. According to the locals, the best DJs in town play here. If you get in before 10, you can avoid paying a cover, otherwise be prepared to pay a $5 entry fee

Uhhh...probably the ONLY place to go here in Mammoth. Everyone who comes up here to vacation, goes out to Whiskey Creek. It's a two story restaurant/bar with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It's the 'meat market' of Mammoth. It's nothing compared to the scene in LA, but it's a fun time had by all! Snow, wind-burned skin, hot toddies, and that brisk moutain air does something to the chemistry of this place! The 2nd floor is a typical bar with a live band and it's a restaurant on the 1st floor where they serve up great dishes like teriyaki salmon and ribeye steaks.
Dress Code: Whatever will keep you warm, especially between your car and the bar.
