Enjoying the warm sun on the Mill Cafe's deck

The PERFECT place to hang out for apres-ski cocktails! They have a great sundeck where you can bathe in the sunlight while sipping back some Sam Adams (or whatever your drink of choice is). Everyone stops by the Mill for some grub and socializin'! On a cold. blizzardy day though, it is hard to find a table inside since no one wants to be outside so you have to be aggressive about getting a table. There is a small fireplace inside as well.

Favorite Dish: After several long runs, it doesn't really matter WHAT it is as long as it's edible! :) BBQ chicken, hamburgers, fries, chicken fingers. The main thing that you MUST try is the tri-tip! It is soooo tasty! That, and the garlic fries! Yum!

    Break Time at the Mill

On the Mountain (or at least at the base of the Mountain) you can grab a quick bite between ski runs at the Mill. Right where the high speed quad lift "Stump Alley" and "Gold Rush: pick up, it can be very convenient. Or you can just kick back.

    The Mill Cafe

On the whole, food at ski places in America is pretty average and the experience pretty caferia like. (This is a big disadvantage to Euro skiing) One pleasant exception is the Mill Creek cafe which features really tasty grilled and other food in a nice fireplace warmed chalet experience. The tri-tip sandwiches are good and the garlic fries are popular. I HIGHLY recommend that youcome here during non-peak times. After 2 or before noon as it gets really crowded. In fact I suggest eating at 11 ish to beat the rush.

Favorite Dish: Tri-Tip Sandwich! And Garlic Fries and the delicious and refreshing Caesar salad! mmm Hot Chocolate.
