It was easy to find, the hotel shuttle left us at the corner and we only had to walk cross the road.
You can not miss the big sign on the wall isn’t it? LOL
Now you wonder where are the members?

It was great meeting up with Julie. Spent a lot of time together, but hey Julie, it's a vacation, u don't get to sleep at 10.30 pm! I don't even sleep at that time when I'm working ;-) Other than this, the 2 of us shares a lot in common I'd say, yes, Julie?

Ok, finally a chance to meet my "idol", my most favorite pagemaker & virtual guide, Ernst (Worldtrekker). Ernst is a charmer; very funny, very sincere & has an innocence which I haven't seen for a long long time. Cookies, Ernst? ;-) He's a lot of fun! :-)))

As I've said earlier, this page is not about travel or tips. Just a virtual tour of VT 1st Official Meet. A time for friends whom we have gotten to know over the years to meet in person & to make that connection. It's a time for surprises & future friendships...
& naturally not forgetting some of our friends who couldn't make it (because she's enjoying Russia in a cruise, ahhhhh, I'm envious!!!)

Beaches is located on the beach at the start of the pier in Manhatten Beach. It is a favorite spot for the "in" groups in the South Bay area.
After about 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights the place has a line outside of folks trying to get in as well as many folks that want to be in the "in" group.
Your best bet is to take the bus or walk here as there is no parking in the area on the weekends.
Dress Code: No tank tops are allowed and you must have shoes on your feet.

Just at the entrance they were ready to give us our identifications and while we were all partying upstairs.... they stayed waiting for the rest of the people till 10.00 ....
