Celebrate the changing Fall weather with a Wednesday evening Wine Tasting Cruise in Marina del Rey aboard Hornblower Cruises. Starting in September and continuing through October, taste a sampling of three different wines from are different region each week. Enjoy complimentary appetisers and relax to the soothing background music all while watching the sun setting over the water in the harbor. Wine not to your taste? There is also a cash bar onboard. Boarding starts at 6:30pm; cruising from 7 to 9pm.

Make your mid-week special with a Wednesday Sunset Cocktail Cruise with Hornblower Cruises. The Annual Sunset Sailing Series features hundreds of sail boats racing for the title. Enjoy a 2-hour cocktail cruise with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Take in the breathtaking view of the Marina del Rey harbor and all those colorful sails while cruising in the midst of it all. Boarding is at 6pm and cruising is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Dress Code: Dressy casual; be sure to take a wrap or sweater for that walk on the outside decks -- it can get chilly in the evening.
Get romantic at the "Glow" bar in the Marina Marriott Hotel. This gathering spot is outdoors under the stars, with cozy patio seating, semi-private areas and features little romatic cabanas that you can reserve for your romantic evening -- or an evening out with the girls or guys.
The whole area is lit by a large fireplace and soft, glowing candles. Any season is right as there are outdoor heaters to keep the winter chill at bay, and of course, the Marina breezes to cool the summer nights. Order your drinks and an appetizer and enjoy the comfortable seating outdoor. Several nights a week -- almost always on the weekends -- there is live entertainment to help you while away the evening.

Spice up your usual Friday night on a Hornblower Friday night Blues Cruise! When you come aboard, you'll be treated to a glass of champage, have a delicious dinner buffet and enjoy the cool sounds of the Phil Gates Blues Band. Dancing is encourage, or take a stroll on the outer decks and check out the water views. Boarding is at 7:30 with the cruise lasting about 2 and a half hours. Price is about $75 per person.

The otheroom is always packed. The people are awesome and it's a great way to start off the evening. They don't care what you are wearing....After all, its Venice Beach. You can even bring your dog inside and have him hang out with you.
The only downer is there is no food. They only serve different types of beer and wine. Don't worry though, because you have Hal's and Joe's are in walking distance.
