We ate at this restaurant in January 2009. We were holed up at a nearby hotel waiting for our morning flight out of San Francisco International and stumbled across this place. What a find. Service was excellent although there was a very slight wait for a table as the place was packed.
Every dish we ordered was delicious and enormous in size. We had Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, Hot and Sour soup, String Beans w/Garlic and Salt & Pepper Prawns. (prawns were enormous and there were tons of them!) Just an incredible dining experience that we accidentally came upon.
Favorite Dish: Eggplant in Garlic Sauce...no....Salt & Pepper Prawns.....no....wait....gotta go back!

Salad bar and many varieties of pizza. There are video games, 49ers&Giants stuff, and photos of the Millbrae police. Nothing really stands out, as this is just a typical pizza place in the Bay Area.
Favorite Dish: PIZZA! This is a chain which offers Dine-in, Take Out, and Delivery. The food was at a moderate price and average taste.

This was another chain restaurant which has become a local restaurant. It is easy to image the old owners as the building style is well known.
Favorite Dish: Burritos, of course. We have at times ordered something else and it was good, but the specialty is clearly burritos. The place has inexpensive and large burritos. Seating is limited.

16 Mile House Luinch Served Tues-Fri 11:00am to 2:00pm
Dinner served Tuesday thru Sunday after 5pm
The Old West/ Gold Rush atmosphere. The original building is no longer standing, but was 16 miles from San Francisco and a popular hotel/stage stop owned by the Sanchez Family.(Original family of Millbrae)
Favorite Dish: The steak is good. Just about all meals are meat dishes with a mushroom sauce.

Wr've ordered delivery and eaten in the restaurant. The atmosphere is Greek, which photos/posters of Greece, a large bar, and booths which are divided by latice work. The is also a big screen television and video game room for which you wait. The waiting time is easily 30 mins or more for eating in and even longer for delivery so plan on time to talk brfore eating. This is not a 'date' or fancy place, but the food is great and prices are reasonable.
No photo as it was dark by the time we left and Zorbas is right on the main road so it is hard to take a photo due to heavy traffic.
Favorite Dish: PIZZA made by hand from scratch. We saw the sign which said 'We make the best pizza the old fashioned way, hand-streched, with natural ingredients, from scratch' and another (larger) sign which stated 'Best Pizza on the Peninsula' and we had to agree.

Not much to see or do in Millbrae. It's just north of Burlingame and right near the SF Airport. Very soon they will have their very own BART station near El Camino.
