Asians consitute a majority of Monterey Park's population. So don't be surprised to see many business with signs in both Chinese and English, like this Bank of America.

This isn't really a trap or tourist attraction but many people come to Monterey Park to shop at the many asian grocery stores such as this one.

Sequioa Park at the top of the 'Brightwood' hill.
On a clear day, one can see downtown Los Angeles to the west, the San Gabriel Mountains to the North/East, and the San Gabriel Valley to the east.

Fondest memory: This picture could have been taken in Hong Kong or even China. But instead it's from right here in the USA. So why travel thousands of miles to see China when you can just come to Monterey Park?
