    Luggage and bags: We went in the 1st week of May. The first day it was hot. The weather changed overnight and it was cool to cold the rest of our trip. A good coat wouldn't be a bad idea. If you're going to one of the higher levels of Shasta by car, you might also need an umbrella (if it's snowing).

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Definately bring hiking boots/shoes. There's lots to see in Shasta, but a lot of it's on foot.

    Luggage and bags: Big bag

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Always bring both types of clothing it can be sunny and hot one day and the next it can be cold and windy.

    Photo Equipment: Keep your camera handy, it is beautiful up here.

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Camera, bug spray, 3 pairs of shoes (the water is inviting to go in but cold) and a fishing pole.
