Friends of ours recommended we visit Cliff Lede Winery, and it was the first stop we made on arrival in Wine Country. Cliff Lede is located in Yountville, just north of Napa town.
This boutique winery was only established in 2002, and the tasting room looks new and welcoming. There is a pretty veranda looking over the vineyards where you can take your wine and relax.
We did the 'Still Wine Tasting' here and enjoyed a chat with the very friendly guy who poured our wine and educated us a little about Californian wines. The Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc we tasted was particularly good and we purchased a bottle.
