The other wine tasting we did in the Napa Valley region was at Plumpjack Winery, in Oakville. Plumpjack is a boutique winery that has a welcoming tasting room, surrounded by a pretty garden. The tasting room is also home to a small shop selling both Plumpjack and Napa Valley merchandise.
We did four tastings here, including an interesting Chardonnay and a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The lady pouring our wine was obviously very knowledgeable, but very businesslike as opposed to being warm and friendly.
