Unfortunately, the last time I visited Twomey they had changed their selections of wine to be tasted. Their 2000 and 2001 merlots are phenomenal, with characteristics that border on a cabernet style. Now they are tasting their younger merlot and a pinot noir, which I find lacks the punch and class of the earlier merlot. I'd only go back here to buy some of the earlier releases.
Twomey's sister winery is Silver Oak.
