The annual Christmas Boat Parade is a crowd pleaser for locals and many visitors. Fancy yachts , boats and kayaks dazzle marvelously while going on a 2 hour cruise, starting around 6:30. Capturing the best views is fun or frustrating. The best bet for reserve seating is to contact local groups like the American Legion Post and people at the Newport Sea Base. Reserve as early as possible!! Check website for beautiful pics of the parade.

Several companies also offer short harhbor tours around the bay and out past the jetty where they turn around. You'll see some unbelievable homes and maybe a little wildlife. This is a very touristy thing to do...afterall locals have their own boats to tour the harbor with!
