Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach

Ultramod in OC! Not only does L.A. have a chic, stylish art scene- so does OC baby! Newport Beach is at the center of the art scene here and OCMA serves as host to a variety of bold and awe-spiring art displays, from canvas to film.

Works by Picasso, Pollack, and a slew of other influential artist of the modern era have been exhibited here. For future wanna-be top artists, a good number of childrens art programs are held here and as for the adults, ultra swanky cocktail style events are frequent as well.

The museum location is a bit hidden from the casual newport visitor, but is close to the well-known and visited Fashion Island and not far from the coast.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 students. There are free days on the 2nd Sundays- hurray! * (may be subject to change)
