LE CHEVAL
This is a Vietnamese restaurant with French and Southeast Asian ifluences, particularly popular with the locals. Prices are reasonable and there are many delectable dishes to choose from on the menu. Can get very busy so it is best to call ahead and book!

Le Cheval is a family owned French Vietnamese Restaurant that has been in the Oakland Community for a long time. The food is fresh, as well as healthy. The service is efficient, the ambience is nice, and the price is right. It is a popular eatery that serves dishes that cause your palate to salute you.
I love everything on the menu, and have sampled everything. My favorite dishes are the garlic green beans. The green beans can be served with cubed beef, chicken, shrimp, tofu, or alone. The lemongrass chicken is great and all dishes can be substitued with veggies or tofu. I love the carrot soup, and the Mein Ga/Chicken Soup with Bean Thread Noodles. The seafood roles are lovely served with a wonderful peanut sauce. They also do magic with calamari. Everything is wonderful.
